SerpentCS Releases Mass Editing for Tryton, GNU Health!

Dears,

As it is said by someone,’Never Leave a chance to Thank anyone’. Let SerpentCS take a privilege to thank the Tryton community for keeping the world of OpenSource Alive.

Here we are doing a little and attempt to contribute to Tryton, a three-tiers high-level general purpose application platform under the license GPL-3 written in Python and using PostgreSQL as database engine. Tryton is spreading its leg smartly among the OpenSource lovers. Tryton has its own foundation now and going stronger and stronger with each release with the recent release has been Version 2.8. The Tryton community is backed up by highly qualified and big players of OpenSource ERPs.

This is also an aim to let you know about GNU Health, a free Health and Hospital Information System developed with the base of Tryton. SerpentCS has a privilege of being a partner, the only one in the Asia Region.

Here we represent one of the most useful features in ERPs, called Mass Editing. The aim is simply to edit/remove some values of more than one records at the same time, on the fly.

Here you can find the Mass Editing module and the document for the how-to of the module! We are not yet experts in Tryton programming, but a good beginning is half done! We will wait for your feedback and hope to get this contribution added in upcoming version.

More screens can be seen in the document as mentioned above.

SerpentCS analyzes that United States is Moving to OpenSource !

Hello,

Since last 3 weeks, Husen Daudi and Jay Vora are observing a growth in the no. of visits of our blogs and website.

1. SerpentCS’ Blog !
2. Husen’s blog !
3. Jay’s Blog !

Serpent Consulting Services works on various OpenSource Products including OpenERP, GNUHealth, SugarCRM, vTiger, Alfresco, Liferay and Tryton.
It’s usually seen that Europe and Asia have been the only continents using OpenSource products and tools. But what recent results have shown to us, is very merry-making to the OpenSource projects, editors, communities, integrators, implementors, service providers and developers. United states of America which is well-known for the usage of Proprietary softwares has been looking for OpenSource Solutions.

Following are the images proving it.

Visits on our OpenERP Blogs recently by Day, week and Month.

By Day

SerpentCS : OpenERP Visits per day

By Week

SerpentCS : OpenERP Visits by week

By Month

SerpentCS : OpenERP visits per month

The possible reasons are the searches made on search engines for the search topics as:
1. Opensource benefits.
2. Low cost and effective ERP solutions.
3. OpenERP Training.
4. OpenERP Technical and Functional Training.
5. How to Learn OpenERP.
6. OpenERP Support and OpenERP Migration
7. OpenERP version 7 easy to use.

United states of America is an Economical and Technological Super power. Getting motivation for OpenSource from that part of world is a great news for Opensource believers. We don’t mean bad for proprietary softwares, but the competition will be tough and outcome will be the quality of products, quality of services.

You would be amazed to know why Cisco, skype, Teamviewer, etc. are enemies for many Airlines now a days. For an unbelievable reasons the airlines of all parts of the world are angry due to the services provided by Online meeting tools as mentioned above. The simple reason is you get everything at your screenstep (doorstep, usually used). Without buying the expensive tickets, you can enjoy whatever you wish to learn from home and that too at your desired time. This is the savings of time and money.

We at SerpentCS have been offering the remote support, trainings and development assistance for many United States’ software firms for Liferay, OpenERP and SugarCRM. OpenERP Offshore and Trainings are among the hot trends!

GOD bless opensource world and lets welcome United states of America.

Thanks,
Serpent Consulting Services!

Hello Everyone,

Tryton as you might know already is an OpenSource ERP, a form of OpenERP. Tryton is a three-tiers high-level general purpose application platform under the license GPL-3 written in Python and using PostgreSQL as database engine.
It is the core base of a complete business solution providing modularity, scalability and security.

Tryton Core

The core of Tryton (also called Tryton kernel) provides all the necessary functionalities for a complete application framework: data persistence, extensive modularity, users management (authentication, fine grained control for data access, handling of concurrent access of resources), workflow and report engines, web services and internationalisation. Thus constituting a complete application platform which can be used for any relevant purpose.

Base Modules

Currently, the main modules available for Tryton cover the following fields of activity:

SerpentCS is now in a patnership with Thymbra, GNU Health

Serpent Consulting Services feels immense pleasure to say that we have been in partnership with Thymbra and supporting GNU Health.

GNU Health is based on Tryton and is a free Health and Hospital Information System with the following functionality :
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Hospital Information System (HIS)
  • Health Information System
GNU Health is developed by Thymbra since 2008. Thymbra is an IT company specialised in ERP and medical informatics, active in Europe and Americas with offices in Spain and Argentina.

GNU Health is an official GNU Package, and the Hospital Information System adopted by the United Nations University,
International Institute for Global Health, for the implementations and trainings.

OpenERP - Thymbra“Working with the medical community
around the world to improve the quality of life
of people living in emerging economies.”
http://health.gnu.org

In 2008 Thymbra created a division dedicated to GNU Health. We count with the support of medical specialists that put their experience in the design and implementation of our solutions

GNU Health – The Free Health and Hospital Information System.
GNU Health is a multi-user, highly scalable, centralized Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Hospital Information System (HIS) for Tryton. Provide an universal Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Hospital Information System (HIS), so doctors and institutions all over the world, independently of their economic status, will benefit from a centralized, high quality, secure and scalable system.

Our goal is to provide a free, universal EMR / HIS, where developing countries can also benefit.

GNU Health - Thymbra
GNU Health at Glance
• Strong focus in family medicine and Primary Health Care
• Major interest in Socio-economics (housing conditions, substance abuse, education…)
• Diseases and Medical procedures standards (ICD-10 / ICD-10-PCS)
• Prescription writing
• Billing
• Patient Genetic and Hereditary risks : Over 4200 genes related to diseases (NCBI / Genecards)
• Epidemiological and other statistical reports
• 100% paperless patient examination and history taking
• Patient Administration (creation, evaluations / consultations, history … )
• Doctor Administration
• Lab Administration
• Medicine / Drugs information (vademécum)
• Medical stock and supply chain management
• Hospital Financial Administration
• Designed with industry standards in mind
• Free Software : Licensed under GPL v3
The data model is designed in such a way that centralizes the information, so no duplication occurs.
On the other hand, GNU Health optimizes collaboration and communication between health professionals. For example, a doctor may request an specific lab test for a patient, this is processed by the pathologist which diagnoses it and inputs the result on the system. The doctor now has all the analysis information linked to the patient chart.
GNU Health allows to attach documents (X-rays, Biopsy results, … ) to the Patient chart.
Standards
The information generated and gathered in GNU Health should be standard. We use ICD-10 for pathologies / diseases diagnoses. For example, instead of typing an arbitrary name for the condition, the doctor will be able to choose from over 14000 mutually exclusive classified diseases. This is very important for epidemiological and other statistical studies.
GNU Health uses the information on genetics from the National Center for Biotechnology Information NCBI and Genecards to link genes disorders to diseases. This information is important to evaluate risks of the patient to contract an specific disease and the probability of transmitting it to next generations. GNU Health also registers all the relevant family history information of the patient.
Similarly, the patient history will be in a format that medical centers all over the world would be able to process. Effective, paperless and fast way of practising medicine.
Security
It follows the access control and security model of Tryton.
Localization
The main language will be English, but it can be easily translated to any other language using Tryton module translation. We are using Transifex as the translation Portal Today, GNU Health is being translated into Hindi India, Italian, German, Spanish, Bahasa Indonesian, Vietnamese, French, Dutch and Portuguese, among others.
