YOUTH RUN 2011
Youth Run started last year as a part of Synapse-the annual techno cultural fest of DA-IICT. Charged with the motto,'Believe, Change, Run', the Youth Run team organised this event on 20th Feb, 2011. A first of its kind, it was aimed to get the youth together for the betterment of the society. We collaborated with various schools and colleges of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar and hit the huge target of 1200 PARTICIPANTS last year. The event was flagged off by the commissioner and collector of Gandhinagar, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar.
YOUTH RUN 2012
Youth Run 2012 aims at bringing the youth together inspiring them to discuss the setbacks and obstacles towards a good life and a better society. The run is an opportunity to quit waiting for the "moment of glory" and start working hard towards the ideas that one believes are right and hence realizing their true potential and energy in the process. The theme of this year's Youth run is PASSION.
ROUTE 1(8 KM)- Gh-0 --> Gh-4 --> Vidhan Sabha --> Gh-4 --> Gh-0
ROUTE 2(5 KM)- Gh-0 --> Gh-3 --> Gh-0
A YOUTH SEMINAR is organized after the run at DA-IICT which is the heart of the Youth Run. It is a platform for young minds to let out their thoughts, views or suggestions supported by the Youth Run.
There will a panel of eminent personalities like Prof. ROOSHIKUMAR PANDYA - A pioneer in the field of communication, stress management and therapeutic suggestions and hailed by the media as "communicator par excellence".
Mr. MADHUSUDAN KELA - He is currently the Chief Investment Strategist at Reliance Capital Ltd. Under him Reliance Mutual Fund grew from Rs. 200 crore to Rs. 1 lac crore.
